RTL 5 RTL 5 is a daring channel: young, provocative and tempting. It is aimed at a young, broad target group comprising both men and women, although it may be slightly more popular with women because of programmes such as Holland's Next Topmodel and Project Catwalk.
 
American series such as Prison Break, CSI and 24 are also shown on this channel, as are blockbuster films.

RTL 5’s main target group is viewers aged between 20 and 34, although 16 to 24 and 20 to 49 are also significant target groups. The main genres featured on RTL 5 are: reality (Expeditie Robinson, Holland's Next Topmodel), series, films, comedy, 'outrageous' game shows (Deal or No Deal) and travel.

RTL 5 has a Luxembourg broadcasting licence and broadcasts via cable and satellite (digital) and in northern Luxembourg via the terrestrial network.
