UFA Filmproduktion takes care of big-screen productions. With Andreas Dresen’s film Die Polizistin in 2000 (a.o. Grimme Prize with Gold) the company achieved “a little miracle”, according to the Grimme Prize jury. In 2004 the adaptation of Christoph Hein’s novel Willenbrock is also being directed by Andreas Dresen and presented at the 2005 Berlinale.
